(iv) God's Law Is Not Burdensome, But Is Given For Our Good:

Though the law of God is often mislabeled as burdensome, unbearable, or used to earn salvation through works, a dedicated study of the Scriptures will prove those accusations to be inaccurate and false. On the contrary, obedience to God's law is essential if one is to love Him, for the law of God was given for good, not hurt. Individuals declaring God's law as burdensome or done away with are judging His law as well as the Lawgiver Himself.

I John 5:3 - AFV

3.   For this is the love of God: that we keep His commandments; and His commandments are not burdensome.

Deuteronomy 10:12-13 - AFV

12.   And now, Israel, what does the LORD your God require of you, but to fear the LORD your God, to walk in all His ways, and to love Him, and to serve the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul,
13.   To keep the commandments of the LORD, and His statutes which I command you today for your good?

Matthew 11:28-30 - AFV

28.   "Come to Me, all you who labor and are overly burdened, and I will give you rest.
29.   Take My yoke upon you, and learn from Me; for I am meek and lowly in heart; and you shall find rest for your souls.
30.   For My yoke is easy, and My burden is light."
