(v) God's Law Is Truth:

God is perfect, just, righteous, and does not change or lie. Understandably, would not God's law be based upon the same standards? If one considers God's law as done away, not applicable, heavy to bear, or burdensome, why would Psalms 119 and I John say otherwise? By keeping the law of God at a higher standard, Jesus Christ represented the law in love and truth as intended from the beginning.

Psalms 119:142, 151, 160, 172) - AFV

142.   Your righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, and Your law is the truth.
151.   You are near, O LORD, and all Your commandments are truth.
160.   Your word is true from the beginning, and every one of Your righteous ordinances endures forever.
172.   My tongue shall speak of Your word, for all Your commandments are righteousness.

17.   "Sanctify them in Your truth; Your Word is the truth."
