Biblical Proofs: I. God Personally

(ii) God Does Not Lie:

God the Father, and His Son, Jesus Christ, are both composed of Spirit, and a part of the Godhead. Though created after God's image and fallen from grace, every man is given the hope of restoration and salvation through the redemptive work of the Son. This restoration allows each person to potentially be a part of the Family of God in the resurrection. Because God is perfect and does not lie, He will hold to the promise of eternal life unto those whom it is imparted.


Numbers 23:19 - AFV
19.   God is not a man that He should lie, neither the son of man that He should repent. Has He said, and shall He not do it? Or has He spoken, and shall He not fulfill it?

I Samuel 15:29 - AFV
29.   "And also the Glory of Israel will not lie nor repent, for He is not a man that He should repent."

Hebrews 6:17-18 - AFV
17.   In this way God, desiring more abundantly to show the heirs of the promise the unchangeable nature of His own purpose, confirmed it by an oath;
